The day’s festivities commenced with the recitation of the Holy Quran, setting a solemn tone for the occasion. Pro Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Syed Mir Muhammad Shah delivered an inspiring speech, emphasizing the significance of Independence Day and Sukkur IBA University’s role in fostering patriotism among students. His speech also highlighted the joyous coincidence of this year’s Independence Day with the remarkable achievement of Pakistani athlete Arshad Nadeem, who secured a gold medal at the Olympics after four decades, serving as a beacon of inspiration for the youth.
