SUKKUR: The Faculty of Engineering & Technology at Sukkur IBA University successfully convened its Industrial Advisory Board (IAB) meeting at the Admin Block, chaired by Dr. Saeed Ahmed Khan Abro, Dean of the Faculty. The session brought together academic leadership and esteemed industry professionals through an online platform.
During the meeting, the Board reviewed proposed updates to the curricula of the Bachelor of Engineering programs in Electrical Engineering (Electronics and Power) and Computer Systems Engineering, aiming to better align academic content with current industry requirements, emerging technologies, and the skills needed for the future workforce.
A focused discussion was also held on integrating the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) into engineering education, exploring practical ways to embed sustainability into teaching, research, and upcoming academic initiatives.
Dr. Abro expressed gratitude to all participants, noting that the insights and recommendations of the IAB members will play a vital role in shaping Sukkur IBA University’s mission to produce skilled, industry-ready, and forward-looking engineering graduates.
