    TAY hosts sports festival to mark Kashmir solidarity day

    TANDO ALLAHYAR: In Tando Allahyar district, Kashmir Solidarity Day was celebrated with enthusiasm through a sports festival organized by District Sports Officer Faiza Khan under the instructions of the Sindh Government. The ceremony was inaugurated by Deputy Commissioner Tando Allahyar Noor Mustafa Leghari, alongside SSP Syed Saleem Shah, DSO Faiza Khan, journalist Syed Shahzad Bukhari, and other officials, who cut the ribbon to officially open the event.

    The festival featured competitions in karate, football, cricket, and other sports, aimed at expressing solidarity with Kashmiri brothers and sisters. Addressing the participants, Deputy Commissioner Noor Mustafa Leghari and SSP Syed Saleem Shah said Kashmir is the jugular vein of Pakistan and that the people of Pakistan stand united with the Kashmiri population, sharing their sorrows and joys.

    In the karate competitions, Eagle Karate Academy secured first position, TGLSS claimed second, and SST Public School came third. Other sports events, including cricket matches, continued throughout the day, providing an energetic and engaging platform for students and athletes to celebrate national unity and support for Kashmir.
