DADU: Three men, including two passers-by, were injured when an old dispute between two Chandio community groups reignited in the riverine area near Dadu on Saturday, police said.

The clash occurred in villages adjacent to Syyal, within the jurisdiction of Jhalo Police Station, and intermittent gunfire was reported. Those injured were identified as Rizwan Chandio, Khalid Jamali, a passer-by, and Haji Lashari.

The wounded were rushed to the DHQ Hospital, with Rizwan Chandio and Khalid Jamali later referred to Sehwan due to the severity of their injuries.

SSP Dadu Amir Saud Magsi said the situation had been brought under control. “No one will be allowed to disturb the peace,” he added, noting that a case had been registered under the Anti-Terrorism Act.
