SYDNEY: Australian TikTok star Bella Bradford, known for her vibrant personality and fashion content, passed away on October 15 at the age of 24 after a courageous battle with a rare jaw cancer, rhabdomyosarcoma. Weeks before her death, Bella recorded her final “Get Ready With Me” video, which was posted posthumously on October 31, capturing the hearts of her devoted followers.
In her farewell video, Bella shared a powerful message: “I hope that you can look back on all my videos and find a little bit of joy in your day, if you ever need a pick-me-up. Remember that you live every day, and you only die once, so make every day count.” She expressed gratitude for the support she had received, adding, “Thank you guys so much for this wild and wonderful ride. I hope you all have beautiful, amazing lives. I wish all the best for every single one of you.”
Bella’s death notice conveyed that she passed away “peacefully surrounded by the people she loves most” and requested that mourners consider donating to cancer charities such as Chris O’Brien Lifehouse, Rare Cancers Australia, Cancer Chicks, or Head and Neck Cancer Australia instead of sending flowers.
Diagnosed at age 22 in 2021, Bella chronicled her experiences with radiotherapy, chemotherapy, and surgeries on TikTok, where she gained a following for her optimism and raw honesty. Although she initially went into remission, the cancer later returned, which she faced with unwavering strength.
The online community mourns the loss of a young woman who inspired many with her resilience and positivity, even in the face of profound adversity.
