DERA ISMAIL KHAN: A tree plantation campaign was inaugurated at the District Courts in Tank by Shah Fahad Ansari, vice president of the Dera Ismail Khan High Court Bar Association and advocate of the Supreme Court. Ansari planted the first sapling, marking the launch of the drive and emphasizing the importance of environmental protection.
The ceremony was attended by Pir Abdul Ghaffar Shah, president of the District Bar Association Tank, members of the legal community, Forest Department officials, and district judiciary officers. Speaking at the event, Ansari highlighted the role of tree planting in combating pollution and mitigating climate change. He stressed that trees are essential for maintaining a clean and green environment and ensuring a healthy atmosphere for future generations.
Ansari also urged the legal community to actively participate in social and welfare initiatives alongside their professional responsibilities. Participants pledged to contribute to the campaign’s success and plant as many trees as possible across the Tank district.
