DERA ISMAIL KHAN: The Pakhtunkhwa Milli Awami Party (PkMAP) observed the second death anniversary of Dr. Younas with solemnity and respect, celebrating his lifelong dedication to the rights and autonomy of the Pashtun nation.
A ceremony attended by party leaders, workers, and local residents was presided over by Central Committee member Sultan Muhammad Shirani, with Advocate Ahmed Nihal Mehsud serving as stage secretary. Political and legal experts, academics, and poets paid tribute, highlighting Dr. Younas’ unwavering commitment to justice, provincial autonomy, and national dignity.
Speakers noted that Dr. Younas drew inspiration from Khan Shaheed Abdul Samad Khan Achakzai and consistently opposed oppression and injustice, devoting his life to the Pashtun cause. His dedication, they said, exemplified simplicity, selflessness, and sacrifice, remaining loyal to PkMAP until his last breath.
The gathering reaffirmed its determination to carry forward Dr. Younas’ mission, continuing the struggle for Pakhtunkhwa under the guidance of his philosophy and the vision of Milli Mashar Mahmood Khan Achakzai.
