RAWALPINDI: In a major intelligence-based operation, security forces successfully eliminated two terrorists in Balochistan’s Kalat district. The operation, which took place on Friday night, was confirmed by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) on Saturday. It was launched after intelligence reports indicated the presence of terrorists in the area. Troops quickly surrounded the location, engaged the suspects, and neutralized both.
The ISPR further revealed that a cache of weapons, ammunition, and explosives was recovered from the site. The terrorists were said to have been involved in numerous attacks on both security forces and civilians. As part of their standard procedure, a sanitisation operation is still ongoing to clear the area of any potential remaining threats, ensuring the safety of the local residents.
The military reiterated its unwavering commitment to peace and stability in Balochistan, emphasizing that Pakistan’s security forces, in collaboration with the nation, are resolute in their efforts to counter any attempts to destabilize the province.
