ISLAMABAD: The United States Embassy in Pakistan has restricted the movement of its staff until 15 March due to concerns over possible protests.
According to the embassy, the precautionary measure was taken in view of potential demonstrations in different areas.
The embassy also issued an advisory to United States citizens in Pakistan, urging them to avoid large gatherings, remain aware of their surroundings and keep track of local news updates.
The advisory further asked American nationals to prioritise their personal security during the period.
