SUKKUR: Due to delays in the investigation of the video scandal by the FIA, Vice Chancellor of Shah Abdul Latif University, Dr. Khalil Abu Poto, has been sent on compulsory leave for the third time.
However, this time he has been sent on leave for 60 days. In his absence, Vice Chancellor of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto University Nawabshah, Dr. Amanat Jalbani, will serve as the acting Vice Chancellor of Shah Abdul Latif University for an additional charge for 60 days.
It is to be noted that the investigative committee has also forwarded the matter to the FIA for scrutiny of the video. The investigation into the missing record of the Sindh Medical University’s MD/Ph.D. degree is also with the FIA for several months now, and according to the investigating officer, the investigation is still ongoing.
