SUKKUR/KHAIRPUR: Karim Bakhsh, a notorious criminal wanted in multiple cases of theft, robbery, kidnapping for ransom, and previous police encounters, was killed in an alleged police shootout near Gambat in Khairpur, authorities said.
According to SHO Aghra Imdad Ali, police received information that a gang of robbers was blocking the road and looting vehicles. When officers reached the site, the suspects opened fire. During the exchange, Karim Bakhsh was killed, reportedly struck by bullets from his accomplices.
The remaining accomplices fled the scene, and a search operation is underway to apprehend them. Police recovered a pistol and ammunition from the deceased.
