DADU/JAMSHORO: Awareness rallies were held in Dadu and Jamshoro on Monday to mark International Anti-Corruption Day, with participation from government officials, police personnel, civil society representatives and local citizens. The events aimed to highlight the importance of eliminating corruption and promoting transparency.
In Jamshoro, the rally commenced from the Deputy Commissioner’s office and concluded at Telegraph Edmore Pump. It was led by Deputy Commissioner Ghazanfar Ali Qadri, SSP Zafar Sadiq Chhanga, and Assistant Director Anti-Corruption Zeeshan Memon.
In Dadu, a similar march was organized from the Deputy Commissioner’s office to the Dadu Press Club. The rally was led by Additional Deputy Commissioner Wajahat Ghafoor and Deputy Director Anti-Corruption Ali Haider Sheikh, with officials from the anti-corruption, education and revenue departments attending in large numbers.
Participants in both rallies carried placards and banners expressing a strong commitment to eradicating corruption. Speakers emphasized that corruption undermines the moral, social and administrative foundations of society and must be eliminated to ensure the country’s development and prosperity. They called for collective efforts by the public, institutions and civil society to create a transparent and brighter future.
