LAHORE: Renowned Islamic scholar Dr. Zakir Naik has expressed his deep appreciation for his recent visit to Pakistan, stating that it was a remarkable experience where he felt an overwhelming sense of love and safety. Addressing an audience in Rawalpindi during his farewell speech, Dr. Naik thanked Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif, the Chief Minister of Punjab, the Sindh government, and all institutions for their warm hospitality and the security arrangements provided throughout his stay.
Reflecting on his visit, Dr. Naik remarked, “I received the most affection in Pakistan compared to anywhere else in the world. I felt very safe here.” He noted that he had previously visited Pakistan in 1991, at a time when he was not actively engaged in preaching, yet was met with respect and honor from all religious institutions across the country. Encouraging Pakistani youth, Dr. Naik urged them to utilize social media responsibly and leverage technology to spread the teachings of Islam.
