KARACHI: The Board of Management of Quaid-i-Azam House Museum and the Quaid-i-Millat Liaquat Ali Khan Memorial Committee jointly organized a dignified ceremony to mark two historic occasions: the 76th Anniversary of the Founding of the People’s Republic of China and the 130th birth anniversary of Pakistan’s first Prime Minister, Shaheed Millat Liaquat Ali Khan.

The event took place at the historic Quaid-i-Azam House Museum, also known as Flagstaff House, and was attended by diplomats, intellectuals, Rotarians, and distinguished citizens.

Prominent participants and speakers included H.E. Ghulam Abbas Zboli, Vice Consul General of Iran in Karachi; Ambassador Dr Masooma Hasan, Chairperson of PIIA; Prof. Dr Nasreen Afzal, former Chairperson of the Department of History at the University of Karachi; Sirajuddin Aziz, Banking Ombudsman; Ikram Sehgal, defence and security analyst; and Mahfoozun Nabi Khan, General Secretary of the Quaid-i-Millat Liaquat Ali Khan Memorial Committee.

Guest speakers paid rich tribute to Shaheed-e-Millat Liaquat Ali Khan and highlighted the importance of preserving the legacy of Pakistan’s founding leaders. They also emphasized the need to strengthen people-to-people ties, particularly with China, reflecting the enduring friendship between the two nations. The ceremony concluded with a renewed commitment to carry forward the vision of Shaheed-e-Millat Liaquat Ali Khan and to foster stronger relations between Pakistan and its global partners.

The program was organized by RCK President Nasim Shah, Secretary Muhammad Waseem, and members of the Quaid-e-Millat Memorial Committee, including Haleem Khan Ghori, Ataur Rehman, Masood Alam, Wali-ur-Rehman, Ashfaq Lodhi, Iram Fawad, and others.
