NANKANA SAHIB: In a shocking development in Nankana Sahib, police officers and a senatorial worker have been arrested on allegations of harassing lady polio workers. According to police reports, the arrest was made based on the complaint filed by a lady polio worker in Saeed Wala.
Following the complaint, both the police constable and the senatorial worker were apprehended. The police spokesperson revealed that Superintendent of Police Saeed Aziz suspended the involved constable pending further investigation. The spokesperson added that a case has been registered against the suspects under charges of harassment, assault, and violation of the Police Order 2002. The incident of harassment occurred on February 24, and prompt action was taken following the complaint.
