The injured were shifted by Chhipa ambulances to Civil Hospital, Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre, Abbasi Shaheed Hospital, Darul Sehat Hospital and Dow Hospital for treatment. In a statement on Tuesday, the central bank said all banks and financial institutions will remain closed for public transactions on the first day of the new year.
