DERA ISMAIL KHAN: A farewell ceremony was held by the District Police Dera Ismail Khan to honor SP Ali Hamza Butt (PSP) ahead of his transfer to Abbottabad. District Police Officer Sajjad Ahmed Sahibzada presented a shield and souvenir to SP Butt in recognition of his services.
The event was attended by senior police officers including SP Investigation Malik Shakeel, SP CTD Iftikhar Ali Shah, SP Saddar Muhammad Nawab Khan, SP Security Dera Gul Naseeb Khan, and a number of DSPs from the district.
Addressing the gathering, DPO Sahibzada praised SP Butt’s performance, noting that he had demonstrated exceptional professional capability in a short period and had a promising career ahead. He encouraged younger officers to follow Butt’s dedication and commitment.
SP Ali Hamza Butt expressed gratitude to his colleagues and senior officers for their guidance and support, highlighting teamwork as key to success. He said the training and encouragement received in Dera would guide him throughout his career and hoped his colleagues would continue to serve with the same professionalism.
