KARACHI: Deputy Mayor of Karachi, Salman Abdullah Murad, attended the two-day “Mera Brand Pakistan” exhibition at the Expo Centre as chief guest, highlighting the importance of promoting Pakistani brands and connecting them with the public.
Addressing attendees, Murad described the exhibition as a significant step towards showcasing local brands and strengthening the national economy. “Pakistani products form the solid foundation of our economy,” he said, adding that events like this would empower local industry and business.
He emphasised that familiarising the public with Pakistani brands was a pressing need. “The exhibition reflects the quality and reliability of domestic products and will provide an important platform for their promotion,” he said, praising the organisers for their efforts in ensuring the event’s success.
Murad said the initiative would not only boost confidence in local products but also encourage growth in domestic trade and entrepreneurship, reinforcing the value of homegrown brands in Pakistan’s economic development.
