RAWALPINDI: According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the terrorists were neutralized after an intense exchange of fire, during which weapons and ammunition were recovered from the site. The military added that the individuals had been involved in multiple acts of terrorism across the region, posing a sustained threat to local security.
Sanitization operations were reported to be ongoing to ensure no other operatives linked to the group remained in the area. The ISPR emphasized that these actions were part of a broader, persistent counter-terrorism campaign, conducted under the framework of ‘Azm-e-Istehkam’ and guided by the Federal Apex Committee on the National Action Plan.
ISLAMABAD: Security forces in Balochistan killed four Indian-sponsored terrorists during an intelligence-led operation in Kalat District on Monday, the military’s media wing reported. The operation followed credible intelligence about the presence of terrorists affiliated with the Indian proxy group ‘Fitna al-Hindustan’, officials said.
