ISLAMABAD: The ISPR Internship Program, aimed at the national training and awareness of youth under the aegis of the Pakistan Army, continued across the country with a special interactive session held for participating students.
The session featured renowned analyst and scholar Ahmad Hassan Al-Arbi, who engaged directly with the interns in a wide-ranging discussion on the security challenges facing Pakistan and the role of young people in countering extremism. The interaction formed part of the program’s broader objective of fostering critical thinking, national cohesion, and informed civic responsibility among students.
Addressing the gathering, Al-Arbi spoke at length about the presence of terrorist elements in Pakistan and the nature of what he described as their misleading and deceptive propaganda. He said extremist groups relied heavily on distorted narratives and ideological manipulation to influence vulnerable segments of society, particularly the youth.
