DADU: A severe cold wave continued across the valleys of Gorakh Hill Station in Dadu district, where temperatures fell sharply and water began to freeze into ice.
According to the Gorakh administration, night and early morning temperatures had remained below zero for several days, with the mercury dropping to between minus four and minus five degrees Celsius during the latest cold spell.
The extreme cold caused standing water to freeze, highlighting the intensity of the weather conditions at the hill station. Despite the harsh temperatures, Gorakh Hill Station remained a popular destination, with a large number of tourists continuing to arrive to experience the cold climate and enjoy the natural scenery.
The administration said the impact of the cold season at Gorakh Hill Station was also being felt in surrounding areas, intensifying winter conditions across the wider region.
