DADU: Two women were killed and a man and a young girl were seriously injured after a speeding truck hit a motorcycle on the Indus Highway near Khairpur Nathan Shah and Loloja.
According to police, the accident occurred when the truck struck the motorcycle with force, killing the two women on the spot. The man riding the motorcycle and a child travelling with them sustained serious injuries. Police said the injured and the bodies of the deceased were immediately shifted to the THQ hospital.
The deceased women were reported to belong to the Jogi community, while the affected family was said to be from Kandiyaro area of Naushahro Feroze district. Police said the family was travelling from Khairpur Nathan Shah to Naushahro Feroze when the accident took place. An investigation into the incident was under way, police added.
