HOUSTON: The newly elected members of the Executive Board of the Pakistan Association of Greater Houston (PAGH) took their oath of office in a grand ceremony held at the Pakistan Center. Among the elected members, Sarah Khan made history as the first woman to be elected as Vice President, while Syed Arshad Iqbal assumed the role of Joint Secretary, and Arif Ali Syed, Falk Fatima Zahra, and Syed Muhammad Nasir took oath as Executive Board Members.

The oath was administered by distinguished Judge Krishna Bisera.
It is noteworthy that Sarah Khan is also a strong contender in the upcoming primary election for the crucial position of Treasurer of Fort Bend County.
Speaking after the ceremony, Vice President Sarah Khan said her election marks not only a milestone but also reflects the new vision and progress of this prestigious association.
Judge Krishna Bisera, addressing the event, remarked that the election of a woman to such a key position in the association is highly commendable and a positive sign for the community.
The ceremony was attended by PAGH President Siraj Narsi, General Secretary Amir Zaidi, Group Head Imtiaz Ahsan, prominent businessmen Muhammad Baig and Muzaffar Wohra, along with community leaders and a large number of women, all of whom congratulated the newly elected members on their success.
