SUKKUR: Aror University of Art, Architecture, Design & Heritage marked a new milestone with the official launch of the Aror Learning Institute (ALI), a collaborative initiative with the LUMS Learning Institute (LLI). The launch was celebrated with a leadership session bringing together academia and industry leaders.
Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Zahid Hussain Khand opened the session, highlighting the university’s commitment to producing job-ready graduates equipped with transferable skills. Former LUMS Vice Chancellor Dr. Arshad Ahmad delivered the keynote address, stressing the importance of bridging academic learning with industry expectations.

The event included a panel discussion with faculty and students, focusing on reducing the gap between theoretical education and practical industry needs. Dr. Hammad Alizai, Director of LLI, presented the partnership’s roadmap for faculty development and learning innovation.
The session concluded with remarks from Mr. Muhammad Abbas Baloch, Secretary U&B, and Mr. Noor Ahmed Samoo, Secretary Training Management & Research Wing, Sindh Government, followed by an interactive Q&A with industry participants.
Distinguished guests included CEOs, industrialists, and senior officials, reflecting strong support for ALI’s vision of cultivating future-ready talent in Sindh.
