KARACHI: The Awami Raj Student Federation held a protest demonstration in front of the Karachi Press Club demanding justice for three young men allegedly killed in a staged police encounter in Kot Lalu.
During the protest, demonstrators carried placards and raised slogans calling for accountability and justice for the victims.
The gathering was addressed by senior lawyer Majid Ali, along with Saeed Ahmed Aasi, Muhammad Waseem, Abbas Shar, and other speakers. They alleged that the police carried out the killings under orders from influential landlords and described the incident as an extra-judicial murder.
Protesters demanded strict legal action against the police officials involved and called for the formation of a judicial inquiry commission to ensure that justice is served for the slain youths.
