SEHWAN: Inspector General of Sindh Police, Javed Alam Odho, visited the shrine of Lal Shahbaz Qalandar and offered floral tributes, vowing to take strict action against criminals and ensure justice for martyred officers.
Speaking to the media after his visit, IG Odho said police had tightened the noose around criminal elements, and there would be no leniency for those who refuse to surrender. “Some offenders claim to be respectable, but drugs and crime will be eradicated at all costs,” he said.
Referring to the recent attack in Dadu in which three policemen were martyred and others injured, he asserted that their sacrifices would be avenged. He added that any necessary changes in police command would be made, but the current team would continue its operations. “Our personnel have displayed bravery in confronting criminals. Dadu will see targeted police operations, and lapses in attendance or duty will not be tolerated.
