KHAIRPUR: Students from the Government Special Education & Rehabilitation Centre for Hearing Impaired Children (HIC), Sukkur, visited Shah Abdul Latif University (SALU), Khairpur, during the university’s Students’ Week, showcasing inclusion and raising awareness about differently-abled students.

The highlight of the visit was a National Anthem performance in Sign Language by HIC Sukkur students, which received widespread appreciation from the audience, including Vice Chancellor Dr. Yousuf Khushk.
The performance was praised as a reflection of the talent, confidence, and abilities of special students. Dr. Zahid Sahto, head of SALU’s Special Education Department, welcomed the delegation from the Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (DEPD), Sindh.

Students from HIC Sukkur, Government Special Education & Rehabilitation Centre, and RCPHC participated, engaging with university students in various activities. Vice Chancellor Dr. Khushk lauded the students’ efforts and the dedication of DEPD officers, who were honored for their contributions.
