KARACHI: The 131st batch of Sindh Police completed a grand passing-out parade at Saidabad, attended by Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah and senior police officials, including the IG Sindh and Additional IG Karachi.

Recruits demonstrated discipline, professional skills, and determination during the ceremony. The Chief Minister congratulated them and urged officers to uphold honesty, integrity, and duty while prioritizing the protection of citizens’ lives and property.

Murad Ali Shah highlighted the importance of high-quality training and pledged to strengthen police training institutions to meet international standards. He also announced an increase in the monthly meal allowance for recruits to Rs10,000 to support their welfare.
The Chief Minister praised the police for recent successes against armed robbers and street crime and noted that while terrorism has been largely controlled, vigilance remains essential in some regions. He expressed confidence that the new officers would contribute to maintaining law and order across Sindh.
