KARACHI: St. Patrick’s High School, Saddar, celebrated its 165th anniversary on 14 February with a vibrant Annual Sports Day, showcasing student talent, teamwork, and school spirit.
The event began at 9 a.m. on the school grounds, attended by students, teachers, parents, alumni, and distinguished guests including Chief Guest Fahad Shafiq, Coordinator of the Prime Minister’s Youth Program Sindh, and Guest of Honour Muhammad Farooq, CEO of CBE-K.
Students from the school’s four houses—Raymond, Lobo, Henderson, and Cordeiro—competed in races, drills, and synchronized performances, while the Torch Bearer ceremony, led by M. Mustafa of Class 10-B, highlighted leadership and sportsmanship.
Principal Rev. Fr. Mario Angelo Rodrigues, Deputy Principals Ms. Christine and Ms. Najla, and Sports Head Sir Nixon Khokhar oversaw the event, praising students for dedication and discipline. Guests lauded the school’s commitment to physical fitness, character building, and academic excellence.
The ceremony concluded with prizes and certificates awarded to winners, celebrating a century-and-a-half of educational service and reinforcing St. Patrick’s High School’s reputation as a leading institution in Pakistan.
