TANDO ALLAHYAR: A house was badly damaged in a fire that broke out in a densely populated neighborhood near Jinnah Chowk in Tando Allahyar, officials and residents said.
The blaze started at the home of Tulsidas Daulat Ram and quickly spread to the upper floor, destroying all household belongings. No casualties were reported.
Local residents initially attempted to contain the flames before notifying municipal authorities. Fire brigade teams arrived later and brought the fire under control after about three hours.
The cause of the fire has not been determined. The incident left the family facing heavy financial losses.
