SUKKUR: A gang rape case in Jacobabad district has sparked widespread attention after a female TikToker alleged that four men sexually assaulted her. The case, registered at Jacobabad police station, relates to events on 15 February when the victim, Sara Baloch, accompanied by her husband Abdul Jabbar Jakhrani, went to the residence of one of the accused following a telephone invitation.
According to the complaint, Akmal Wagho, Paidal Jakhrani and Molabakhsh Jakhrani allegedly lured her to Akmal Wagho’s home under the pretext of making TikTok videos. The victim said she was then taken to a room, threatened with a pistol, stripped and recorded on video, before being raped consecutively over a period of around three hours.
Her husband told investigators that the perpetrators had told his wife the assault was punishment for creating TikTok videos and warned that continued posting would result in the footage being circulated online.
