KARACHI: Gold prices in Pakistan continued their upward trajectory, reflecting sustained demand for the safe-haven metal amid heightened tensions in the Middle East.
According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of gold per tola rose by Rs3,000 to reach Rs536,562. The rate for 10 grams of gold also increased, gaining Rs2,572 to settle at Rs460,015.
The domestic surge followed a rise in the international market, where gold climbed by $30 per ounce to $5,138, as investors maintained a strong buying trend in response to the uncertain geopolitical situation.
