KARACHI: The Sindh Employees Social Security Institution (SESSI) organized a one-day training session aimed at enhancing the professional skills of its field officers and improving overall institutional performance. The program, titled “Working of Social Security Scheme,” was arranged by the Public Relations Wing in collaboration with the Training and Research Institute, and brought together social security officers from across Sindh.

Addressing participants, Commissioner SESSI Hadi Bakhsh Kalhoro emphasized the crucial role of social security officers as the backbone of the institution, noting that the organization’s reputation is closely linked to their performance. He urged officers to adopt modern administrative practices, refine their professional and presentation skills, and embrace professionalism and ethical conduct as guiding principles to strengthen both personal and institutional standing.
Commissioner Kalhoro also announced the future introduction of online training programs designed to further build the capacity of officers and keep them abreast of contemporary administrative and professional practices.
The training session was conducted by former Director SESSI Ms. Tasneem Saeed, Director C&B Dr. Ghulam Dastgir, Director Public Relations Wasim Jamal, and Senior Trainer Ghulam Mustafa Hashwani. The program covered the functioning of the social security scheme, best practices, and strategies to enhance service delivery.
At the conclusion of the session, it was stressed that such capacity-building initiatives would continue to ensure institutional improvement and effective implementation of the Social Security Scheme. In line with this goal, Commissioner Kalhoro also announced the establishment of a 24/7 helpline and information desk, taking steps toward a one-window operation system to further enhance organizational performance and accessibility for stakeholders.
