    By Israr Ahmad Orakzai

KOHAT/HANGU: Commissioner Kohat Division, Syed Moatasim Billah Shah, stressed that all issues between Kohat and Orakzai districts should be resolved within the framework of the law, through mutual consultation, dialogue, and understanding. He emphasized that no party would be allowed to violate legal procedures and that maintaining peace, stability, and brotherhood in the region is paramount.

The Commissioner made these remarks while presiding over a key meeting attended by elders of Kohat and Orakzai, administrative officers, and police officials. During the meeting, participants discussed specific land-related disputes and agreed to resolve them through legal channels. All attendees pledged to fully cooperate with district administration, respect the law, and strengthen mutual trust and harmony between communities.

In addition to dispute resolution, the meeting reviewed the overall law and order situation, ongoing government development projects, and social campaigns in the region. Detailed discussions were held on ensuring public participation in school enrollment drives, polio vaccination campaigns, and tree plantation initiatives. The Commissioner directed that coordinated efforts be made to involve citizens in all national and social campaigns, aiming to enhance regional development, welfare, and prosperity.

The meeting concluded with a reaffirmation of commitment to lawful governance, inter-district cooperation, and active public engagement in developmental and social initiatives.
