KHAIRPUR: Deputy Commissioner Khairpur, Altaf Ahmed Chachar, chaired a high-level meeting to review land acquisition for the Sukkur–Hyderabad Motorway (M-6) project, focusing on compensation procedures and removal of obstacles to construction. Officials provided updates on revenue matters, verification of land records, and coordination with the National Highway Authority.
Chachar directed all departments to expedite the acquisition process and ensure timely compensation for affected landowners. He emphasized close coordination among the Revenue Department, project authorities, and stakeholders to prevent delays. The meeting was attended by the Additional Deputy Commissioner (Revenue), Assistant Commissioners of the concerned talukas, National Highway Authority representatives, and other officials.
Highlighting the strategic importance of the M-6 Motorway for regional connectivity and economic development, the DC pledged full administrative support to complete the project within the scheduled timeframe.
