DERA ISMAIL KHAN: Food safety teams conducted inspections of milk shops, bakeries, and general stores in Dera Ismail Khan on the directives of the Director General of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Food Safety & Halal Food Authority.
During the inspections, several bakeries were fined on the spot for poor hygiene, while others were summoned to the office for further legal proceedings. Shopkeepers were instructed to strictly adhere to food safety regulations and ensure full compliance with the law.
Deputy Director Sajjad Ahmed said the enforcement action would continue throughout the holy month of Ramadan to guarantee that safe and high-quality food is provided to the public.
