KARACHI: Gold prices in Pakistan continued their downward trend on Friday, marking the fourth consecutive day of decline.
The price of 24-karat gold per tola fell by Rs3,400 to Rs533,762, while 10 grams of 24-karat gold dropped by Rs2,915 to Rs457,614. Similarly, 10 grams of 22-karat gold declined by Rs2,672 to Rs419,494, according to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association.
The drop was mirrored in the international market, where gold fell $34 to $5,110 per ounce.
Silver prices in Pakistan also decreased, with 24-karat silver per tola down Rs104 to Rs8,914 and 10 grams of silver falling Rs89 to Rs7,642.
