KARACHI: Iran’s Consul General in Karachi, Akbar Eisa Zadeh, condemned recent attacks by the United States and Israel on Iran, calling them violations of international law, and praised Pakistan for supporting Iran’s stance. Speaking to media during a visit to the Iranian Consulate on Friday to offer condolences over the martyrdom of associates of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, Zadeh said the assaults had claimed many innocent lives, including 168 children.

Zadeh criticized the US for negotiating through friendly countries while deploying naval fleets in the region and accused both Washington and Tel Aviv of targeting civilian areas. He asserted that Iran reserves the right to strike American and Israeli assets worldwide and vowed that military responses would continue until Iran’s objectives were met.
Highlighting the lack of unity among Muslim nations, Zadeh urged solidarity, emphasizing that the attackers aim to divide the Muslim world. He also criticized the United Nations for remaining silent on the issue.
The Consul General praised Pakistan’s role in supporting Iran’s position and acknowledged Pakistani religious scholars and citizens whose rallies had boosted morale in Iran. On reports of an attack on the Israeli parliament building, he said he had heard of the incident but could not confirm the extent of the damage.
