TANDO ALLAHYAR, Mar 6: A protest rally was held in Tando Allahyar against the reported martyrdom of Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei and ongoing military actions by the United States and Israel in the Middle East. Organised by the Shia Ulema Council, the event highlighted solidarity with the people of Iran, Lebanon, Yemen, and Palestine.
The rally, called by Ayatollah Syed Sajid Ali Naqvi, began at Ali Ibn Al-Hussein Mosque and proceeded to Chambar Road, drawing hundreds of participants chanting slogans against the US and Israel. Speakers, including Farhan Pitafi, Advocate Zameer Haider Jafari, and Maulana Mir Taqi Talpar, condemned what they described as aggression and oppression by global powers and urged the Muslim world to unite for justice.
The speakers emphasized that opposing oppression aligns with the Hussaini message and expressed full support for Pakistani security forces combating insurgent groups in Afghanistan, which they described as involved in terrorism and corruption. They called for international action to establish peace in the region and praised Pakistan’s efforts in maintaining stability.
