KARACHI: Pakistan’s national cricket team has left Karachi for Dhaka to take part in the three-match One-Day International series against Bangladesh.
The ODI series will be held at Sher-e-Bangla Cricket Stadium, with the first match scheduled for March 11, followed by the second on March 13, and the third on March 15.
Former Pakistan captain Mohammad Rizwan, speaking to the media in Karachi, said the team needs to improve its performance ahead of the series. He acknowledged that playing in Bangladesh is challenging, as the home side often makes it difficult for visiting teams.
Rizwan added that the squad includes a mix of experienced and young players, but emphasized that attention is needed to address certain shortcomings before the series begins.
