KARACHI: The Government of Sindh has decided to release salaries and pensions of government employees by March 16 ahead of the upcoming Eid al-Fitr celebrations.
Officials said the decision was taken to ensure that employees and pensioners receive their payments in advance so they can manage expenses during the festive season.
According to the provincial government, salaries of government employees will be paid by March 16, allowing them to make necessary preparations for Eid.
In addition to salaries, pensions and other benefits will also be disbursed by the same date to facilitate retired government employees and beneficiaries.
The early release of payments is expected to provide financial relief to thousands of government employees and pensioners across Sindh.
