RAWALPINDI: Pakistani forces have destroyed several key posts and centres in the Arandu and Kurram sectors during ongoing retaliatory actions against militants under Operation Ghazab Lil Haq, security sources said.
According to officials, the Pakistan Army carried out strikes targeting positions of the Afghan Taliban and Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan in the Arandu and Kurram District sectors.
Security sources said several important posts and militant centres were destroyed during the operation, forcing Taliban fighters to abandon their positions and flee.
They added that Pakistani forces are continuing operations to target militant hideouts and installations in the border regions.
