KARACHI: Sindh’s Home Minister Ziaul Haq Lanjhar has directed law enforcement agencies to remain on high alert ahead of Yaum-e-Shahadat of Hazrat Ali (RA).
Addressing security officials in Karachi, he emphasized that mosques, Imambargahs, and majlis venues across the province should have strict security arrangements. Additional personnel will be deployed at sensitive locations in all major cities of Sindh.
Lanjhar instructed that joint patrols by Rangers and police be increased in critical areas and that CCTV monitoring from central control rooms continue without interruption.
He assured that the Sindh government is taking all possible measures to ensure the safety of citizens and protect lives and property during the observance.
