BEIRUT: A fresh wave of Israeli attacks on Lebanon overnight has claimed the lives of 8 people, raising the death toll in the conflict since 2 March to 687, including over 90 children.
Israeli authorities said the attacks came after Hezbollah and Iran carried out a coordinated strike against Israel, which Tehran confirmed. Israeli media reported that around 150 rockets were fired at Israeli territory, while Hezbollah claimed responsibility for targeting the Military Intelligence Headquarters near Tel Aviv.
The escalation underscores the continuing volatility in the region as both sides exchange attacks.
