RAWALPINDI: Pakistan’s military media wing Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said that drones launched by the Afghan Taliban on 13 March were shot down before reaching their targets inside Pakistan.
According to ISPR, debris from a destroyed drone injured two children in Quetta, while one person each was wounded in Kohat and Rawalpindi.
The military described the drone strikes as a “malicious attempt” to spread fear among the public, adding that Pakistan’s citizens and armed forces are aware of the reality of what it called militant groups operating from Afghanistan.
ISPR said Operation Ghazab‑ul‑Haq would continue until terrorists operating from Afghan territory are eliminated, stressing that cross-border terrorism from Afghanistan is “intolerable and unacceptable”.
It added that the armed forces will remain steadfast in combating terrorism in all its forms.
