KARACHI: Malir Cantt Police arrested four suspects, including the ringleader, involved in buying and selling stolen motorcycles, following intelligence- and technology-based operations.

The suspects were detained during a covert operation within Malir Cantt jurisdiction. The group reportedly purchased stolen motorcycles from various areas, transported them to secret locations, and dismantled them for spare parts.
Police recovered over 30 stolen motorcycle parts, including 14 fuel tanks, 57 mudguards, 31 clamps, chain covers, tires, rims, and other components. Two loader rickshaws used for transporting the parts were also seized, along with keys of stolen and snatched motorcycles.
The ringleader, Mureed Hussain, operated the network, while the other arrested individuals included Ghulam, Riaz, and Muhammad Sajid. Investigation revealed their involvement in multiple cases of motorcycle theft and parts trafficking.
A case has been registered under relevant laws, and further investigations are underway.
