MEHAR: Shia Ulema Council and allied Shia organizations held a protest rally in Mehar on Youm-e-Quds, condemning oppression in Palestine and other Muslim countries. The procession began at the Central Imambargah and moved through Ghanta Ghar Chowk to the National Press Club, with participants carrying banners and national and organizational flags.
A large turnout, including children and community leaders, raised slogans against the United States and Israel. The rally was led by Maulana Mujahid Hussain Hussaini, Abdul Rasheed Mohsini, Muhammad Ismail Mahdavi, Mushtaq Chandio, Ehsan Mahdavi, Mukhtiar Sindhi, Jibran Danish Khoso, Major Daryani, and Meesam Abbas Joyo.
Leaders reaffirmed solidarity with the oppressed people of Palestine and expressed allegiance to Supreme Leader Syed Mujtaba Khamenei. They called for an end to ongoing oppression, condemned recent incidents linked to Khamenei, and stressed that Al-Quds remains sacred to Muslims, uniting Shia and Sunni communities.
Participants urged the Government of Pakistan and the United Nations to act against the oppression and hold hostile forces accountable. The leaders emphasized their continued support for Palestine and resistance to all tyrannical forces.
