SUKKUR: Sukkur IBA University inaugurated three state-of-the-art laboratories—Cyber Security Lab, 3D Animation & VFX Lab, and App Development Lab—at Academic Block-V, in a ceremony attended by Syed Khursheed Ahmed Shah, Member of the National Assembly, as the chief guest. The event was also attended by Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Asif Ahmed Shaikh, faculty members, officers, and staff.
The newly established labs are aimed at enhancing practical learning, research, and innovation for students in emerging technological fields. The Cyber Security Lab will provide hands-on training in digital security, while the 3D Animation & VFX Lab focuses on creative media production. The App Development Lab is designed to equip students with skills to develop mobile and web applications, preparing them for careers in the digital economy.
During his address, Syed Khursheed Ahmed Shah praised the university for its commitment to quality education and technological advancement. He emphasized the role of such initiatives in preparing youth for a rapidly evolving digital world.
The ceremony also featured a certificate distribution segment honoring the horticulture staff for their dedication in maintaining the campus environment. Prof. Dr. Asif Ahmed Shaikh underlined that these new facilities reflect the university’s ongoing focus on innovation and cutting-edge learning.
The event concluded with a tea at the Vice Chancellor’s Office, providing an opportunity for faculty and guests to interact and celebrate the university’s strides in academic and technological development.
