MANAMa: Authorities in Bahrain have arrested five individuals suspected of spying for Iran, the country’s Interior Ministry announced. The detainees are accused of collecting and passing sensitive information to Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).
The ministry said the arrests were part of ongoing efforts to safeguard national security and prevent foreign intelligence operations in the kingdom. Investigations are underway to determine the extent of the alleged espionage activities and identify any additional collaborators.
