MEHAR: Umm-e-Rabab Chandio has expressed deep sorrow over the reported martyrdom of Iranian leader Ali Larijani, releasing a video message addressed to the wider Muslim Ummah in which she urged unity, patience and greater awareness.
In her statement, Chandio said such incidents should not be seen as the loss of a single individual but as a broader test for Muslims worldwide. She emphasised that internal divisions weaken the community, calling on Muslims to set aside differences and stand together against what she described as conspiracies targeting the Ummah.
She stressed that history shows a united Muslim community cannot be defeated, urging people to strengthen bonds of solidarity and mutual support. Chandio also appealed to leaders of Muslim countries to closely evaluate the situation and develop a collective strategy to address the growing challenges faced by Muslims globally.
Highlighting the need for cooperation, she said shared responsibility among Muslim nations was essential to respond effectively to global issues affecting the community. Her message was widely circulated on social media, where it drew attention for its call for unity, awareness and coordinated action among Muslim countries.
